These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Ace mobile application and related services (the "Service"), provided by Ace Enterprises Ltd ("Ace", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service.
2. The Service
Ace helps job seekers find job listings, generate tailored job-application materials using AI, and, if you choose to, automate the submission of job applications through supported third-party ATS and employer application pages.
The Service is offered worldwide, but may not be available in all countries and may be subject to local laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service is lawful where you live.
3. No professional advice; no guarantees
Ace does not provide legal, employment, recruiting, immigration, or other professional advice. The Service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only.
We do not guarantee that you will receive interviews or job offers, that applications will be successful, that employers will respond, or that you will achieve any particular salary or outcome. Any examples or statistics are estimates based on internal testing, they are illustrative and are not promises.
4. Auto-apply and acting on your behalf
If you use application automation, you authorize Ace to act as your agent to submit job applications on your behalf using the information you provide (including your CV, contact details, preferences, and generated documents) via supported third-party ATS and employer application pages. Third-party ATS and employers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, and typically act as independent controllers of your application data once submitted. We do not control their practices, availability, retention, or decisions.
If you uploaded a CV/resume, we may have asked you to confirm a consent statement at the point of upload. We do not ask for a separate consent confirmation each time you use Auto-Apply; your instruction to use Auto-Apply and your uploaded information are used to carry out the applications you request.
You acknowledge that automated submission may complete form fields and submit applications without showing you every field before submission. You remain responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information submitted.
If you use features that generate or tailor CVs/resumes, cover letters, summaries, match indicators, application form fields, or other content using AI, you understand that such outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain invented content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and confirming the accuracy and appropriateness of any information and documents before you submit them (including via Auto‑Apply), and for ensuring they comply with any applicable laws, employer requirements, and third‑party terms.
Ace may create accounts on certain ATS platforms and generate a dedicated application inbox for MFA and application follow-ups. You can view your inbox credentials in the app.
5. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate, up-to-date information and review your CV and preferences before using automation.
Use the Service only for lawful job-search purposes and in compliance with third-party site terms.
Do not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or eligibility for roles.
Keep your device and account credentials secure and do not share your account with others.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is discriminatory, harassing, or otherwise illegal.
Attempt to access or interfere with the Service, its security features, or other users' accounts.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or bypass technical restrictions of the Service.
Use the Service to spam employers or submit applications in ways that violate third-party rules.
Use the Service for commercial/service-bureau use. You may use the Service only for your own personal job search. You can’t use the Service to provide services to others, operate it as a “service bureau,” or otherwise use it for commercial purposes, including charging or accepting compensation from someone else for work performed using the Service (for example, submitting applications or generating documents on another person’s behalf).
7. Your content and licence to Ace
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service (such as your CV). You grant Ace a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process, format, and create derivative outputs from your content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service and to submit applications you request.
8. Third-party services
The Service interacts with third-party services such as ATS platforms, employer websites, AI/automation providers, job listing providers, analytics providers, and the Apple App Store / Google Play. These third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. Ace is not responsible for third-party services or their actions.
9. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple in-app purchases and/or Google Play billing. Pricing, billing, renewal, free trials, and cancellations are handled by the applicable store.
Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew unless cancelled in your Apple/Google subscription settings.
Refunds: refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their policies; Ace does not issue direct refunds for in-app purchases.
10. Apple App Store terms
If you download or use the Service from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply. In the event of any conflict between this section and the rest of these Terms, this section prevails with respect to use of the Service obtained through the Apple App Store.
(a) Acknowledgement. You acknowledge that these Terms are concluded between you and Ace Enterprises Ltd only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Ace, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content. These Terms do not provide for usage rules for the Service that are in conflict with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
(b) Scope of licence. Your licence to use the Service is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the Service on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. The Service may be accessed by other accounts associated with the purchaser via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
(c) Maintenance and support. Ace is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Service, as specified in these Terms or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Service.
(d) Warranty. Ace is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed in section 13 of these Terms. In the event of any failure of the Service to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Service to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Service. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Ace's sole responsibility.
(e) Product claims. You acknowledge that Ace, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Service or your possession and/or use of the Service, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. These Terms do not limit Ace's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
(f) Intellectual property. In the event of any third-party claim that the Service or your possession and use of the Service infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Ace, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
(g) Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
(h) Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
11. Google Play terms
If you download or use the Service from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play's terms of service.
12. Connectivity and device charges
You are responsible for any internet or mobile data charges you incur while using the Service. The Service may require an internet connection and may not function properly without it.
13. Updates and changes
We may update the Service from time to time. You may need to install updates to continue using certain features. We may modify or discontinue features, and we do not promise that any particular feature will always be available.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that any AI‑generated or automated outputs (including tailored CVs, cover letters, summaries, or form entries) will be accurate, complete, or fit for your particular purpose, and we are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or outcomes resulting from your use of such outputs.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data. Where liability cannot be excluded, Ace's total liability is limited to the amount you paid to Ace for the Service in the six (6) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Ace harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.
17. Export and sanctions compliance
You may not use the Service if you are located in a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions or where use would violate applicable export control or sanctions laws.
18. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe your use poses a risk, or if required by law.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
